oon after the birth, its always expected out of a baby girl that she should love dolls and play in home with her utensils of so called as ‘Kitchen set’. Then as she grows, she is still taught that how to remain a peace loving creature, that she has to remain away from fights and not get indulged in any violent boyish acts. Then as soon as she is introduced to her teen age, she learns what is physical pain and how to cope with it, along with being strong enough to carry out all her other deeds as well.
Then she grows up, keeping all the family values insight, loving al, may be sacrificing things so as to see her surrounding people happy!
The she is asked to adapt to someone else’s home and assume it as her own! There she is supposed to get adjusted along with maintaining the balance between her present family and her parental home. From kids to husband to in-laws, she has to cater to all! She has to play the role of professional and then of home maker and nice mother and daughter and satisfying everyone’s every kind of needs........
But what about her own needs? What about her unsaid feelings? What about her pain which perhaps no-one will even come to know? What about her limit of patience?
Agreed, that women have starting raising their voice against all these questions. ....but Will ever the lower middle class women will get answers to all these questions especially in country like India?
